A contemporary beach house in Lorne…. where the bush meets the sea.

Built over 4 levels, this new dynamic home had to respond to an irregular building envelope, an extremely steep site with an adjacent gully and Flamezone bushfire rating.

Matte black steel external cladding for protection, and blackbutt internal lining for warmth and character.

The modern black box - purposeful angular forms and sharp lines were embraced while concrete elements and brass touches brought the class.
