Set amongst thick indigenous Moonah trees, close to the Anglesea River, Minifie speaks a story of content and integrity. A smooth feature wall dissects the internal space at a gentle angle and sinks toward the front of the house. 

A 7m high recycled silvertop ash post dissects the double storey height mezzanine space and penetrates the roof above. Plentiful natural textures include native hardwood cladding, red baltic battens, sandstone blocks and exposed steelwork.

Minifie residence in Anglesea has won the 2011 National Master Builders Best Custom House (up to $500,000).
