New Build on the Great Ocean Road
Planned across a single level east-west axis, the design maximises views of the Southern Ocean and sunshine from the north.
Three large blade walls constructed of textural rammed earth delineate the private sleeping wing from main living spaces and a contained guest studio, whilst forming a secluded internal courtyard protected from the site’s blustery Southern Ocean winds.
The home’s natural materiality and low form allow it to sit modestly within its Otway hinterland setting.
