Restoration, Extension & Additions
An Architects touch to a 70’s beach house in Lorne
Whilst this original 70's beach house in Lorne has received only a tiny extension, the restoration has been extensive. When most designers seem to prefer to demolish old houses, this beautiful home is testament that the reward is there for those who brave the complexities of renovation... History and old charm have been salvaged- whilst saving resources.
Huge blackbutt columns and beams help to frame a priceless north facing view over the ocean, whilst supporting an ornamental grapevine for summer shade (soon to be planted). Hardwood cladding and black detailing compliments this earthy yet elegant finish. Built by Howley Constructions.
